👨👩👧👦 Parents
There is nothing ordinary about responsibility, sacrifice and contribution.
Yet Canberra and the state capitals increasingly treat these extraordinary Australians as though they need to be regulated, taxed, managed, monitored and directed at every turn.
That gets it completely backwards.
🗽 If Australians are capable of building businesses, raising families, growing food, educating children and running communities...
...why would anyone believe politicians and bureaucrats are uniquely qualified to control them?
The more extraordinary Australians are, the less justification there is for governments seeking to rule their lives.
The phrase around here is "the average American," which is equally nebulous yet definite in its reference to people outside the political class.

It’s a tool used to alienate and divide people.
I hear a lot about "every day Australians". Whatever that means.
