It should also be pointed out that "far right" is not an objective fact, it is an opinion. As such, its pervasiveness in so-called hard news reporting violates one of the prime rules of journalism: never mix opinion and reporting.

Yup, your conclusion is similar to mine. A political person who yells the labels "far ..." are sending political signals to in-group members. They're not using a consistent political spectrum. Some academics have tried to define what "far right" means across time and place. It's hard to nail down.
