Australians are drowning in taxes that range from counter-productive to outright absurd.
In South Australia, and perhaps other states, the water authority is entitled to charge rates if water passes a property. This neat trick entitles SA Water to charge water rates on each and every strata title carparking space in the CBD!
That’s seven taxes (yet only a portion of taxes that should be abolished… such as stamp duty).
It is just diabolical that police would not fix these problems here. Yet they will send $$$millions overseas. 🤬🤬🤬
